FORT LAUDERDALE — An investigation is underway after a person was hospitalized following a shooting involving a police officer in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday afternoon.

A man was shot in the neck on Interstate 95 near Fort Lauderdale on Sunday evening, according to reports. The man was transported to a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound to the neck, Miami Herald news partner CBS News Miami reported.
