The Los Angeles Kings honored firefighters and first responders in the first game back in their downtown arena since the catastrophic wildfires that devastated large parts of Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Kings will play at home on Monday for the first time since wildfires devastated the region, killing at least 27 people and destroying thousands of structures. The Kings will honor firefighters and first responders during the game against the Pittsburgh Penguins at Crypto.

Kevin Hayes, Sidney Crosby and Anthony Beauvillier each had a goal and an assist to help the Pittsburgh Penguins end the Los Angeles Kings' nine-game home winning streak with a 5-1 victory on Monday night.

It was just one of those nights for the Los Angeles Kings and one that we hadn’t seen in a while. Nothing went right in all aspects of the game. It was an outlier performance and one they aren’t used to delivering.
