After hitting a 390-footer off Phillies reliever Orion Kerkering, Nimmo, who typically puts his head down and runs with little fanfare, was shown saying something toward Realmuto. Leading off the bottom of the inning, the Phillies catcher was hit by a pitch, further stoking the flames among fans that something odd was going on.

It's perhaps fear-inducing, considering the Phillies have created one of the best home field advantages in baseball the last several years, to hear that the raucous, loud Philly crowd is essentially what's giving the visiting Mets extra life.
