Queen Camilla has comforted the girlfriend of a jockey who recently died following a fall as the horse forever linked to his career won at the prestigious Cheltenham Festival.

The Queen attended Style Day at Cheltenham Festival today, serving in her role as Joint Patron of The Jockey Club.Camilla will present the trophy to the winning owner, jockey, and trainer of The Queen Mother Champion Steeple Chase.

The Queen joined spectators at the Cheltenham Festival for a day of racing at the premier meet in the country for jump jockeys. Snow had greeted early risers at the famous racecourse but Camilla arrived in sunshine as punters poured through the gates ahead of the first race.
