The Dallas Stars have signed goaltender Jake Oettinger to a deal that'll pay him $12 million through the 2024-25 season. Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced the deal on Thursday.

Oettinger was the Stars’ first-round pick in 2017 while Dellandrea was the first-round pick in 2018. The two hit it off while in Dallas together for development camps.

In 2020-21, Oettinger started 24 games as a rookie in the 56-game season and was the Stars’ best goaltender as he posted a .911 save percentage and 2.36 goals-against average.
