DU2, measuring 160 feet wide and travelling at 62,650 km/h, will pass Earth on March 6 at a safe distance of 542,000 km.
The space rock, which measures 150 feet across and is traveling at 38,922 miles per hour, is one of five on NASA's radar.
Space can be unpredictable, but NASA is always watching. On 6 March, three asteroids will pass Earth, including two the size of an airplane and one the size of a bus.
