FDNY are fighting a two-alarm fire at Grand Central Terminal, with widespread disruptions across the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) and related transit systems

The LIRR has suspended service out of Grand Central Madison due to smoke outside Grand Central and FDNY activity on scene, MTA officials said. Some trains heading west into the city will be canceled once they arrive at Jamaica or redirected to Penn Station and Atlantic Terminal. The subway is also cross-honoring LIRR fares.
