The Detroit Pistons announced Friday the signing of free agent Javonte Green. Green, 32, appeared in a combined 68 games last season as a member of the New Orleans Pelicans (50 games) and Cleveland Cavaliers (18 games). The veteran wing averaged 5.1 points on 42.9% shooting from the field and 3.2 rebounds in 18.5 minutes per game.

Detroit has signed veteran Javonte Green to a one-year contract, reports Shams Charania of The Athletic. Green becomes the 14th player on the Pistons roster for next season, although it’s not yet known if this is a fully guaranteed contract.
