Wrestler Vinesh Phogat is contesting from Julana seat on a Congress ticket. If Phogat proves successful it will be the first time in 19 years that the grand old party wins here. In Haryana however, BJP seems to have gained lead in 46 seats.

Phogat is pitted against the BJP’s Captain Yogesh Kumar and the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP)’s sitting MLA Amardeep Dhanda and its one of the key battles in Haryana Assembly elections.
