Kilmarnock fell to their third defeat in a week as Ross County bounced back from a midweek loss to record a crucial win that puts them within two points of the Scottish Premiership top six.

The Staggies were not at their best, but held on under plenty of pressure to get the better of their visitors in Dingwall.

Ross County moved one step closer to the top six after defeating Kilmarnock 1-0 in Dingwall. Kieran Phillips’ 34th-minute goal was enough to decide the outcome, despite the Staggies being put under pressure for large parts of the match.
