Viral videos on the internet claiming there are mass kidnappings of children in Virginia aren't true, state police said.

Virginia State Police are pushing back against a wave of social media posts claiming there has been a spike in mass child abductions across the Commonwealth, saying there is no evidence to support those claims.

Social media videos allege that mass kidnappings of children and teens are taking place in Virginia, particularly in NOVA and Hampton Roads.
