Tottenham Hotspur are in discussions with Bayern Munich over the permanent transfer of forward Mathys Tel. Tel, 19, has been on the margins of the Bayern squad since arriving from Rennes in 2022, and is seeking a move away from Allianz Arena in pursuit of playing time.

Mathys Tel has all the attributes to be a top player one day, but he may be on his way out of Bayern Munich before transfer deadline day. As the biggest club in Germany, it stands to reason that Bayern Munich will often snap up the best young players in the game, and Mathys Tel is certainly in that bracket.
