A Minnesota man accused of killing State House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, Vance Boelter, was indicted on Thursday by a grand jury on eight charges, including two counts of first-degree murder.

The man accused of killing Minnesota lawmaker Melissa Hortman and her husband, while wounding two others in June during an alleged coordinated attack has been indicted by a grand jury on eight total charges.

A Hennepin County grand jury on Thursday indicted Vance Boelter on first-degree premeditated murder charges in the shootings in June of state Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark, the county’s top prosecutor announced Thursday.
