DALLAS — Dallas Stars forward Roope Hintz had to be helped off the ice in Game 2 of the Western Conference Final against the Edmonton Oilers after taking a slash to the leg.

Tensions were clearly high, and that was on display most at the end of the game when a brawl broke out between the two teams. Stars youngster Lian Bichsel and Oilers veteran Corey Perry exchanged some blows as gloves dropped and officials attempted to stop the action.

The zoo was the latest Dallas organization to endorse the Stars on their latest postseason run. Dallas is facing Edmonton in the Western Conference finals for the second straight year, looking to bounce back from a loss in last year’s series.
