A ferry connecting an island off the coast of Georgia resumed operations Monday while the investigation to see what might have caused a deadly dock collapse that killed seven people continues.

At least seven people were killed Saturday after part of a ferry dock collapsed on Georgia's Sapelo Island, according to a spokesperson for the state agency that operates it.

Four of the seven people killed in Saturday's ferry dock collapse at Georgia's Sapelo Island were from Jacksonville, officials said.
