The crash saw a medical flight, chartered for a patient to be brought to the UK for treatment, come down within the airport boundary shortly after take off on Sunday.

Aerial pictures showed the aftermath of a plane crash at London Southend Airport. Essex Police said it was alerted to a 12m (39ft) plane on fire at the site shortly before 16:00 BST on Sunday. Footage taken from a helicopter showed a large area of charred ground and the remains of the aircraft.
