The Golden State Valkyries' new mascot was unveiled this week — and she's a cutie (to me, at least). Driving the news: Violet, easily identifiable by her round glasses and big grin, is a raven who knows how to break it down on the dance floor.

Tiffany Hayes and Cecilia Zandalasini each scored 17 points, Janelle Salaun added 16, leading the Valkyries past the Connecticut Sun 74-57 on the night of their mascot's debut.
