The Eagles will be without quarterback Jalen Hurts on Sunday. The team ruled out three players for the Week 17 game against the Dallas Cowboys. Oren Burks could start his first game of the season as a linebacker, while Nakobe Dean is doubtful.

An Eagles win in Week 17 would, more than likely, send Cooper Rush and the people who like him back down to Earth. That should make the 2025 Cowboys have to reconsider yet another position. I’m using ‘should’ because nothing Jerry Jones does makes any sense and he’ll probably be fine sticking with the off-brand Carson Wentz.

The NFL has fined Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles players involved in a fourth-quarter skirmish last week. Cowboys cornerback Troy Pride ($5,198) and wide receiver Jalen Brooks ($5,083) were fined for unnecessary roughness.

As expected, the Philadelphia Eagles are sitting several key players for an inconsequential Week 18 game against the New York Giants. The Eagles will begin the postseason as the NFC's No. 2 seed regardless of Sunday's outcome.
