Washington Commanders star QB Jayden Daniels is out weeks with an injury, and a reunion trade for Kirk Cousins makes sense.

Jayden Daniels left Washington’s game against Seattle with an injury to his left, non-throwing arm. Daniels' arm bent gruesomely while he was being tackled near the goal line in the fourth quarter.

"It just f---ing hurt, like honestly, it hurt, like you can feel that right now," said Josh Johnson, the veteran backup quarterback speaking slightly louder than a whisper. "Everybody's shocked. Everybody's stunned a little bit. "That's the best I got for you," he said, mustering a weary half-laugh.

Senior National Columnist Judy Battista reports that Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels is seeking a second opinion on his elbow injury.

The Commanders' HC did not have much information available on the QB in his postgame press conference after Daniels departed the field with an air cast over his left arm.

This costly strategic blunder came one week after Denver Broncos All-Pro kick returner Marvin Mims Jr. suffered a concussion on a runback against Dallas with less than 5 minutes remaining in the Broncos’ 44-24 rout of the Cowboys.
