Metcalf ran a crisp out route against cornerback Darius Slay and caught a beautiful pass on his near shoulder from Rodgers. The duo later failed to connect on a back shoulder throw thanks to excellent coverage from Joey Porter Jr, but the feeling between the two was there.

This wasn’t the Steelers start Aaron Rodgers likely envisioned. Pittsburgh’s new star quarterback was intercepted on his first throw Thursday at training camp in Latrobe, Pa., with linebacker Patrick Green picking off a pass intended for wide receiver DK Metcalf.
