Hurricane Milton: Will Publix, Walmart, other Jacksonville-area stores close?
Dixie, Aldi and Freshfield Farms has closed stores in the Jacksonville area. Winn-Dixie's store in Crescent City in Putnam County and Aldi stores in St. Augustine and St. Johns are closed Wednesday.
Publix stores to close early in preparation for Hurricane Milton
In anticipation of the p owerful Hurricane Milton's arrival in Florida, Publix announced that more than 500 stories will be closing early in preparation. Hurricane Milton is expected to make landfall early Thursday on the Gulf Coast of Florida and projected to cross Central Florida and into Brevard.
