Hayes was hospitalized following Saturday’s crash but was released from the hospital, according to a UM statement.

Two children were killed and Miami Hurricanes linebacker Adarius Hayes was among the injured in a two-car crash that caused several other people to need hospitalization, police said Sunday.

While no criminal charges or tickets have been filed, the investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
