The Galaxy S25 Ultra and the OnePlus 13R come with Android 15 and their custom software layer on top. The S25 Ultra comes with One UI 7, which places a large emphasis on AI. The OnePlus 13R comes with OxygenOS 15, which is good enough to rival Samsung’s One UI.

One major concern is just how well the Galaxy S25, with its relatively small 4,000mAh, can compete with other phones at a similar price point. There are some efficiency gains with a new chip, but it doesn’t quite alleviate the small battery woes.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 and S25+ are some of the best Android phones yet, though current Galaxy owners may not find a ton of reasons to upgrade.
