ATLANTA — Gov. Brian Kemp is heading to South Korea to smooth things out after a federal raid at a Georgia Hyundai plant. South Korea and Georgia share a long economic relationship.
On Monday, Atlanta City Council passed Bond's resolution, which allows the city to update its contract with the Atlanta Downtown Improvement District to move the Stitch forward. Back in June, Central Atlanta Progress said the federal government could potentially pull $150 million in grant funding from the project.
Atlanta police arrested a Cartersville man just 14 minutes after a family member reported he was livestreaming threats to shoot up Hartsfield-Jackson. Officers found him scouting TSA lines inside the airport and later recovered an AR-15 with 27 rounds from his truck.
