Bala aka Balakumar, best known for his roles in Malayalam and Tamil cinema, has been arrested on a complaint by his ex-wife Amrutha Suresh.

Kochi: Actor Bala, aka Balakumar, who was arrested on the complaint of his ex-wife, Amrutha Suresh, will move the High Court on Monday seeking to quash the case. Bala and his manager Rajesh, who were arrested this morning, are still at the Kadavanthra police station. Police said the actor may be produced in court by evening.
