DEDHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — Testimony is postponed Tuesday in the Karen Read murder retrial. According to our Boston affiliate, WCVB, a court clerk said the trial was moved due to a health issue. WCVB reports that Massachusetts state police troopers were in position and waiting for the arrival of attorneys and witnesses for the usual 9 a.m. start.
On Day 10 of testimony, evidence collection, weather conditions at the scene of O’Keefe’s death on the morning of Jan. 29, 2002, and calls Read made to O’Keefe before his body was found in the snow were the focus of the retrial.
Massachusetts State Police Sgt. Yuri Bukhenik spent a third day on the stand Monday in the Karen Read murder trial, facing extensive questioning from both sides of the case.
