The below list shows all of the Big Lots store closings announced on Oct. 4, Sept. 27 and Sept. 20, covering 38 states. Texas has the most locations closing on the list with 23. That's followed by California (17), New York (9) and Florida (9).

Another three Big Lots stores in Ohio are closing down amid the company's bankruptcy, bringing the total for the state to 11. Here's the latest list.

Big Lots is closing its location in North Versailles. Late last week, the company added 46 stores to its growing list of closures, including the location along Lincoln Highway in North Versailles. The Big Lots closures in Western Pennsylvania began with its Coraopolis location in August.

New rounds of closures were announced in filings in September and October. The store announced 49 store closures on Sept. 20, another 58 closures on Sept. 27 and 46 more closures on Oct. 4. The Sept. 27 filing included the Sonora store at 1141 Sanguinetti Road and Roseville’s location at 10251 Fairway Drive.
