Carlos Correa Reportedly Traded to Astros from Twins in 2025 MLB Deadline Reunion
According to MLB.com's Brian McTaggart, the Astros traded for shortstop Carlos Correa in a deal with the Minnesota Twins. Bob Nightengale of USA Today reported the Twins will pay $33 million of the remaining $103.42 million on Correa's contract.
It is a move that Jim Bowden of The Athletic (subscription required) highlighted in a recent piece handing out superlatives, calling Correa’s return the best reunion.
The Houston Astros brought Carlos Correa back via trade on Thursday, and the former World Series champion seems elated.
