Both the Carolina Hurricanes and Washington Capitals are adjusting and succeeding on the power play in their second-round series.

To tilt the series back in its favor, Carolina will want to replicate much of the first two games while improving other aspects of its game.

The Hurricanes really put the pressure on the Capitals on Tuesday night. Despite being on the road against the team that finished with the best record in the Eastern Conference, the Hurricanes played with confidence, peppering Capitals goaltender Logan Thompson from the drop of the puck.
