As she prepares to step into the retiring Kathleen Finch’s shoes, Warner Bros. Television Group boss Channing Dungey used today’s MIPCOM session to say the TV industry is still “grappling” with “fundamental changes” brought on by the turmoil of the past few years.

While the upcoming “Harry Potter” TV series may be mostly shrouded in a cloak of invisibility while the show is being carefully developed, the head of TV at Warner Bros. offered a few morsels of information.

Harry Potter fans are on the fence about the reboot so soon after the films wrapped, but, if done well, it could become a major success. HBO and Warner Bros. have a successful history of adapting beloved IPs and the new update is encouraging.
