DALLAS - Two people are dead and a firefighter is recovering after crews battled an early Monday morning house fire in northeast Dallas, officials said. Dallas Fire-Rescue said firefighters were called to a one-story home on Boedeker Street before 6 a.

One person was pulled out of the house and suffered smoke inhalation, but declined being taken to a hospital, an Arlington Fire representative said. Another victim was found dead, the cause of death was not released. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
