Marlins starting pitcher Edward Cabrera left Friday night’s 5-2 loss to the Orioles after four innings with posterior right elbow discomfort.
The right-hander was pulled from his most recent start Friday after four innings and 76 pitches due to elbow discomfort, but an MRI didn't reveal any structural damage. Cabrera heads into the break with a 3.61 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 86:30 K:BB through 82.1 innings.

Overall, the Tigers need to add more pitching, especially a starter who can pair with Mize, Flaherty, and Skubal atop the rotation. There will be some options at the deadline, but the Tigers can't afford to cheap out. This is their best shot to win it all in a while; they should try to land a good starter at the deadline.
