Mercy’s Campbell Flynn surpised with 2024-25 Gatorade National Volleyball Player of the Year award
On Thursday, Flynn was also named the 2024-25 Gatorade Michigan Volleyball Player of the Year, winning that statewide award for the second year in a row. Flynn joined Mruzik -- also a two-time winner -- and Maddy Doyle (2011 season) as the three Mercy players to win the statewide honor.

A 6-foot-3 setter, Flynn registered 730 assists. 180 digs, 131 kills and a .394 hitting percentage, leading the Marlins to a 31-3 record. As a junior, Flynn led the program to a 2024 Division 1 state championship.
