Chris Gotterup won the 2025 Genesis Scottish Open on Sunday at The Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland. Gotterup shot 4-under 66 in the final round to finish at 15 under for the tournament, two shots ahead of Grand Slam winner Rory McIlroy and England's Marco Penge.

Chris Gotterup won the Genesis Scottish Open with a great performance, beating Rory McIlroy by two strokes, and also finishing the tournament at 15 under par. After the third round, both were tied, but the American golfer went furiously into the last round with 4 under par, finishing with a round of 66.

Rory McIlroy came within a whisker of his second Genesis Scottish Open title, but ultimately finished two strokes behind a surprising winner.
