Gervonta Davis has broken his silence over the announcement of his fight with Jake Paul on November 14. Another fight announcement broke last night as Vergil Ortiz is now scheduled to defend his WBC interim world title against Erickson Lubin.

Boxing star Gervonta Davis is no longer facing a misdemeanor battery charge stemming from a June 15 incident involving the mother of his two children. Davis, 30, was arrested on July 11 in Broward County, Fla., following allegations that he physically assaulted the woman during a heated argument outside her home.

Stevenson made his return to the ring last month as he outpointed Mexico’s previously unbeaten contender William Zepeda at the Louis Armstrong Stadium on July 12, successfully defending his WBC lightweight title for the third time in the process.
