The CBI has listed 11 pieces of evidence, such as reports of DNA and blood samples, in its charge sheet to hold arrested Kolkata Police civic volunteer Sanjay Roy as the "sole accused" in the rape and murder of a woman doctor at the RG Kar hospital in Kolkata,

Roy was arrested by Kolkata Police on August 10 at 10:00am. The chargesheet emphasized the importance of forensic evidence in this case, with blood and tissue samples found under the victim's nails matching Roy's DNA. These samples were examined by AIIMS Delhi and the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL).

The RG Kar rape-murder trial involving accused Sanjay Roy will commence on November 4, where startling evidence from the CBI charge sheet reveals shocking details about the crime and the victim.

Times Now sources said that the FIR was registered at 23:45 hours. The victim belonged to the middle class and took admission in the general category for the PG course 2022-25. The chargesheet further revealed that victim's blood was found on Roy's jeans and shoes.
