Cincinnati's Will Benson delivered the second walk-off hit of his career when his bases-loaded single to right field scored Gavin Lux for a 3-2 victory.

The Cincinnati Reds left it until late to conclude their business against the San Diego Padres, and when the business was concluded, the Reds had won the series on a walk-off.

Elly De La Cruz started the inning by reaching on an error after a 10-pitch at-bat. After an Austin Hays flyout, Gavin Lux walked and Spencer Steer hit a single to center field and De La Cruz was able to slide in just ahead of the tag at home plate.
