Hurricane Milton weakened slightly from a Category 5 storm to a Category 4 storm Tuesday morning. However, forecasters still warn that the Milton will be "an extremely dangerous hurricane" as it makes landfall in Florida.

Three of Vacation Myrtle Beach’s resorts are offering special assistance rates to evacuees seeking refuge from Hurricane Milton, which is threatening much of Florida, a news release said. Captain’s Quarters Resort and hotel BLUE are offering a special rate of $39 per night plus tax.
