Tight end Noah Fant, who had 130 catches for 1,400 yards and 5 TDs in his three seasons with the Seahawks, has been released, saving almost $9 million in cap space.

The Seattle Seahawks released tight end Noah Fant, the team announced Sunday. The Seahawks saved $8.91 million against the salary cap by releasing Fant after he was due a non-guaranteed salary of $8.49 million in 2025, per Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times.

With questions swirling about depth on the interior of the defensive line, Seattle addressed the position signing a free agent nose tackle.
