A severe thunderstorm warning was issued by the National Weather Service in Mount Holly at 3:14 p.m. on Monday, June 30.

At 4:44 p.m. on Monday, the NWS Medford OR released a severe thunderstorm warning in effect until 5:30 p.m. for Siskiyou County.

"The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, gusty winds and heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm," according to the NWS Raleigh NC. The warning is in effect until 4:45 p.m.
