Stan Bowman was named after the Stanley Cup by his legendary father Scotty. Stan and Scotty Bowman have a combined 17 Stanley Cup rings between the two of them, and the pressure to get the 18th may be the toughest one to achieve in the Bowman family.

The Edmonton Oilers have signed coach Kris Knoblauch to a three-year extension, keeping him under contract through the 2028-29 season.

"The city and the fans are important to us, and we want to win here. For the guys in this room, we've been through a lot together, and seeing it through together is important," Connor McDavid said
