Temple University has temporarily banned Students for Justice in Palestine from operating on campus, the latest in a wave of suspensions against pro-Palestinian student groups amid sustained protests against the war in Gaza.

Temple University issued an interim suspension to the organization Students for Justice in Palestine on Tuesday after protesters disrupted a job fair last week. The demonstration on Thursday, Sept. 26, at a College of Engineering event inside the Howard Gittis Student Center led to four arrests, including one student, by campus police.

After a Pro-Palestinian protest on Temple University's campus, four were arrested and two of them claim officers were intimidating and violent. The student group has been suspended and school leaders have agreed to meet with a Muslim civil liberties and advocacy group.
