Rowdy Tellez and Joc Pederson homered as the Rangers beat the Cleveland Guardians 5-0 to sweep their three-game series.

The win — paced by right-hander Merrill Kelly’s best start yet for the Rangers — clinched the club’s first sweep since they won six-straight vs. the Athletics and Atlanta Braves between July 21-27. The Rangers, at .500 once again with a 66-66 record, still trail the Seattle Mariners for the final Wild Card berth by four games.
