The National Hurricane Center said Wednesday that it is continuing to track a system that could soon strengthen into a tropical depression.
Invest 94L currently has a medium chance for development over the next seven days. Current conditions call for it to stay away from Florida.
"Some gradual development is possible if the system stays over water while it moves slowly northwestward," the NHC said.
