World Food Day 2024 brings attention to the ongoing battle against hunger, highlighting the significance of food security, sustainable agriculture, and access to nutritious food for all.

Every year, October 16 is observed as World Food Day to raise awareness about food security and encourage action against hunger and malnutrition around the world. The day highlights the significant importance of sustainable farming and food systems to ensure that everyone has access to safe and healthy food.

The results are alarming: At least 733 million people around the world—one out of every 11 people—are facing hunger, according to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Almost 3 billion people globally can’t afford a healthy diet.
