Traffic Collision Rescue – Mines Road On March 3, 2026, at around 10:30 p.m., Alameda County Fire Department (ACFD) firefighters responded to a crash on Mines Road. Crews found a vehicle down a steep embankment in a flowing stream with the driver trapped inside. On June 10, 2024, at 6:51 a.m., the Alameda County Fire Department (ACFD) responded to a house fire on the 2400 block of Spyglass Court in Union City. Firefighters extinguished the fire in under 30 minutes. Unfortunately, three adults were displaced, and one elderly occupant was taken to hospital.
