We love the Viking age, and there are great places to learn more about it, including the historical folks at our festival. But our festival is not tethered to history. We know we are 21st century humans, inspired by the myths, legends and sagas of the past gathering in the woods to reconnect with a feeling that is deeper than anything we can explain.
