In central and eastern Montana, upland bird hunting brings thousands of hunters to our state every year. Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks' Upland Game Bird Enhancement Program is working hard to conserve and enhance habitat. In fact, specifically in Region 4, nearly 120,000 acres of land are open to public access for upland bird and waterfowl hunting.
