NGC 5078 - a spiral galaxy about 94 million light-years away in Hydra. Seen nearly edge-on, it shows a dark dust lane cutting across its bright central bulge - evidence of active star formation and complex interstellar structures. Just below it lies the smaller galaxy IC 879, likely interacting with NGC 5078 and influencing its warped disk through gravitational forces.
